Adventures in Cannabis with Kyra Reed from Kadin Academy

In an effort to cultivate community, compliance, and chuckles, Trax Team Solutions will be featuring various cannabis industry stakeholders in what we call, “Adventures In Cannabis.”

“Kyra, please tell us about your wildest and/or favorite experience working in the cannabis industry thus far.”

My favorite story is working to build the Caramor brand. Being part of a company that is breaking ground in the industry and committed to helping rebuild Puerto Rico and help its people recover from the devastation of hurricane Maria is beyond anything I have ever done. I love working with communities to create unity and collaboration for the betterment of all, and this is the absolute tops. Caramor is a vertically integrated business so I get to participate in all aspects of the business and find ways to make an impact in the community at the same time. I am driven by the opportunity available to women and the trail that we get to blaze in cannabis. Never before have we have the chance to define the inner workings of an industry and cannabis affords us the ability to make our own rules and relationships. The women in the industry are the most generous, kind and supportive bunch I’ve met anywhere and I get a huge boost every day working with them.
